A new appreciation

A friend who's husband is in the military sent this to me. I have ALWAYS had such respect for those that serve their country. They are truly made of something different than the rest of us. Now that we have so many friends from church who are in the armed services it seems to have so much more meaning to me though. I thank God for all the new friends He has placed in my life. I thank them for what they do for all of us. Take a second & listen, it's so worth your time. (Turn off my music to the left to enjoy this!)

The story of my life......

"Motherhood is about raising & celebrating the child you have, not the child you thought you would have. It's understanding she is exactly who she is supposed to be. And that, if you are lucky, she might just be the teacher who turns you into the person you are supposed to be." The Water Giver

Teeny & Tiny People

They're tiny people with hearts of gold.
They're part of my story that will forever be retold.

They've seeped into my soul as I knew they would.
Part of me will leave when they go, just as it should.

I show favor for each and every one.
The sadness of my heart I just need to shun.

None of them are mine to keep.
I just fill the beds with the Lord's little sheep.

I pray He watches over each & every little face.
And Lord, when they leave put another in their place.
